The calendar says it is officially fall, I have opened my first can of pumpkin and the gum boots are in full use. It is safe to say summer is long gone. So, that means there is a lot less sunshine and that isn’t great for the sunshine vitamin. Yep, poor Vitamin D is having a hard time being produced. It is important to supplement Vitamin D at this time of the year for our bone and teeth health.

In a recent post on cleansing I suggested that doing a seasonal cleanse can be different things to different people. For some, it may be drinking more water or turning their screens off at night sooner, it can be anything. Cleansing should include not only what we eat, drink or consume but also the products that we use on a daily basis. I am talking about the moisturizers, the hand soap, shampoos, conditioners, etc. What are they made of? Do you know? Here are just 3 of SO many harmful chemicals that are known to cause cancer, disrupt hormone balance, create issues with our immune system and are general irritants among SO many other things. I so strongly urge you to have look at your favourite products to see what they are made of.
Change is hard. I have been told by my clients and I see it every day. It can frustrate everyone involved, but only until someone is willing to give up bad habits, addictions and unhealthy thinking will real health thrive. Everyone is one their own path and must come to the point where they are willing to give up the things that made him/her sick.
